Use of jamming/simulation pods to train units to resist and respond to this type of threat

SDTS offers jamming/simulation pods for EW training.

The aim is to place combat units in a compromised electromagnetic environment in order to train operators on how to react, take corrective measures, and adapt their methods so that operations may continue. They can also check to see that the on-board systems are working properly in this type of environment.

  • Electronic jamming with the ASTOR IV pod from MyKonsult (Electronic attack, Escort Jamming & Stand-off jamming) or JEWCS pods
  • Self-protection jamming with the on-board ECM pod
